The Model ACT-31D 1-Channel Block Coded Key Ring TRANS PROX Transmitter & Proximity Tag is specifically engineered for integration with access control systems. This single-channel device features a convenient quick-disconnect key ring and is powered by long-lasting lithium batteries, offering a service life of five years. It incorporates an innovative 10-second timeout mechanism to safeguard the system from continuous transmission by a single transmitter.
Additionally, the ACT-31D includes a 26-bit Wiegand proximity tag that’s pre-programmed to the same block code as the transmitter, ensuring seamless compatibility with the AM-PR Proximity Reader. By simply waving the transmitter near the reader, users can effortlessly request system access.
Utilizing the MegaCode format, the transmitter is preprogrammed with a unique code from over 1,000,000 options at the factory, effectively eliminating code duplication risks. The receiver is tailored to learn and recognize each specific code, preventing unauthorized access through reprogramming attempts.
These block-coded transmitters are preconfigured with a sequential series of transmitter ID codes. When deployed with access controllers, they offer the flexibility of local or remote programming into memory by inputting the first and last codes of the block, with facility codes available for further system customization.
