The Model MDT-2B 3-Channel Block Coded Visor Transmitter is optimized for integration with access control systems. This transmitter supports three channels; the left and right front buttons activate channels one and two, while the top button, typically concealed by the provided cover, activates channel three. It comes equipped with lithium batteries, offering a service life of up to five years, and includes a visor clip for convenient placement.
Utilizing the MegaCode format, the transmitter is preprogrammed at the factory with a unique code from over a million options, significantly reducing the risk of code duplication. The system’s receiver is designed to learn each code individually, preventing unauthorized access through transmitter reprogramming.
Block coded transmitters come pre-programmed by the factory with a sequential series of transmitter ID codes. When paired with an access control system, these transmitters can be programmed locally or remotely by entering the block’s starting and ending codes into the system. Facility codes offer additional customization to enhance system security.
