The RCI Ranger sets the standard in electronic security for high-frequency, long-range identification using state-of-the-art UHF technology. These receivers seamlessly integrate with a variety of electronic access control systems via compatibility with both the traditional Wiegand communication protocol and the advanced bi-directional Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). RCI Ranger transmitters are active, utilizing a dependable and widely available battery, and feature a potted proximity or contactless smartcard module. These modules can be configured to work with multiple proximity reader technologies, enabling the transmitter to function as a close-range credential.
