This 4530 Series Standard Duty Deadlatch is engineered for optimal traffic management during and after business hours. With a reverse key turn (while keeping the bolt fully retracted), it allows the bolt to be retained, enabling two-way traffic for facilities like hospitals, banks, retail outlets, and other establishments that require unrestricted entry at times and exit-only access at others. This series is expertly crafted to fit seamlessly, without modifications, into the stile cutouts of legacy MS1850 Deadlocks and 4250 Deadlatches of the same backset, although it does not deliver the same high-security level as the MS Deadlock and should not be treated as a complete substitute.
