Engineered for swift and hassle-free installation, the 8500 requires minimal to no alterations to the frame. Simply remove the existing strike plate, take out the dust box, and install. Its exceptional strength is attributed to a distinctive keeper pin locking mechanism, allowing the 8500 to surpass Grade-1 standards. This advanced electric strike adheres to NFPA 80-07 standards for retrofitting into fire-rated frames and supports mortise latchbolts with up to 3/4″ throw.
