Description
The 7160 and 7170 Electric Strikes, featuring 4-7/8″ [123.8 mm] faceplates, are crafted for integration with mortise or cylindrical locksets that have up to 3/4″ [19.1 mm] latchbolt projection and no deadbolt. The 7160 Electric Strikes are optimized for use in aluminum-framed apertures, while the 7170 Electric Strikes are suitable for hollow metal or wooden settings.
Function:
These electric strikes enable remote electrical control of narrow stile aluminum doors (7160) and hollow metal or wooden doors (7170) that employ mortise or cylindrical locksets with up to 3/4″ [19.1 mm] latchbolt projection, excluding deadbolts. By electrically activating the keeper to release the latchbolt, these devices allow doors to open without directly manipulating the latch.
