Description
**Electric Strikes for Deadlatches and Cylindrical Locks**
These electric strikes are engineered for compatibility with deadlatches and cylindrical locksets featuring a latchbolt projection of 1/2″ [12.7 mm] to 5/8″ [15.9 mm]. Suitable for aluminum, hollow metal, or wooden door applications.
These strikes function electrically even under a preload of up to 25 lbs [11.3 kg], which can be caused by conditions such as air pressure from HVAC systems, door warping, or misaligned hardware—issues that can typically disable standard electric strikes.
**Functionality**
This versatile electric strike offers a non-handed, ultra-compact design with adjustable stainless steel keepers, delivering over 1,500 lbs [680.4 kg] of holding force in fail-secure mode. It operates reliably with door preload pressures of up to 25 lbs. Powered by a single solenoid, it is compatible with 12, 16, or 24 VDC.
Ideal for remote electrical control of narrow stile aluminum doors that are fitted with a deadlatch or cylindrical lockset, these electric strikes accommodate latchbolt projections of 1/2″ [12.7 mm] to 5/8″ [15.9 mm]. Electrical activation unlocks the keeper, allowing the latchbolt to be released and the door to be opened without direct operation of the latch.
**Certifications**
Compliant with ANSI/BHMA A156.31 standards for Electric Strikes and Frame Mounted Actuators, Grade 1.
