The 74R2 Electric Strike is engineered for narrow stile rim exit devices compatible with 1/2″ Pullman latchbolts, ideal for installation in aluminum door frames. It facilitates electric unlocking with a preload capacity of up to 35 pounds.

This semi-mortise strike caters to rim exit devices with 1/2″ Pullman-type bolts, enabling remote electrical access control. It features a non-handed, ultra-compact design with a stainless steel split-jaw mechanism capable of withstanding over 1500 lbs. of holding force in fail-secure mode. The strike efficiently releases even with 35 pounds of preload pressure—challenges presented by air systems or misaligned hardware that typically impede standard electric strikes. Operating on a single solenoid, the strike supports 12, 16, or 24 volt AC/DC power and comes with a convenient quick connect plug-in connector.
