The HES 8500 series is a fire-rated, compact, high-performance electric strike designed for seamless integration with mortise locksets lacking a deadbolt. Engineered for swift and efficient installation, the HES 8500 requires minimal or no frame modification. Installation involves simply replacing the existing strike plate and removing the dust box. Its robustness is attributed to an innovative keeper pin locking mechanism, allowing it to surpass Grade-1 standards. This electric strike adheres to NFPA 80-07 guidelines for retrofitting into fire-rated frames and accommodates mortise latchbolts with a throw of up to 3/4 inches.
