The 9400 series is a slim-line, weather-resistant surface-mounted electric strike designed to work with rim exit devices featuring a 1/2″ Pullman latch. Encased entirely within its robust 5/8″ stainless steel housing, it eliminates the need for frame cutting. Installation is straightforward: position the electric strike on the frame’s surface, align with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place.
The 9400 series includes a 1/8″ spacer plate to adjust for varying door gaps. This model surpasses Grade 1 standards for durability and performance. It offers field-selectable fail-secure/fail-safe operations and supports both 12 and 24VDC. The 9400 features a smooth cover that conceals mounting screws, delivering a refined appearance.
