### The Slim-Line, Surface Mounted Solution
The 9400 series represents a slim-line, outdoor-rated, surface-mounted electric strike optimized for rim exit devices with a 1/2″ Pullman latch. Its components are fully encased within a durable 5/8″ thick stainless steel housing, eliminating the need for frame alteration during installation. Installers can effortlessly position the electric strike on the frame’s surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place.
The 9400 model includes a 1/8″ spacer plate to address various door gap dimensions. It surpasses Grade 1 standards in strength and performance and offers field-selectable options for fail-secure/fail-safe functionality, as well as 12 or 24VDC operation. With a smooth cover designed to hide mounting screws, it delivers a sleek, professional appearance.
