The HES 9500 Series is an innovative, three-hour fire-rated, surface-mounted electric strike tailored for rim exit devices featuring a 3/4″ Pullman latch. All components are securely housed within a 3/4″ thick stainless steel casing, eliminating the need for any frame modifications during installation. Simply position the electric strike on the frame’s surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and complete the installation. The design now includes a separate base and cover, allowing for straightforward adjustments.
This outdoor-rated electric strike surpasses Grade 1 standards for strength and performance. It offers field-selectable options for fail-secure and fail-safe operation, as well as compatibility with 12 or 24VDC power sources. Complying with NFPA 80-07 guidelines, this unique solution is ideal for retrofitting into fire-rated frames.
