The Robust Fire-Rated Surface Mounted Electric Strike Solution
The HES 9500 Series offers a three-hour fire-rated, surface-mounted electric strike designed for use with rim exit devices featuring a 3/4″ Pullman latch. Encased entirely within a 3/4″ thick stainless steel housing, installation requires no frame cutting. Simply position the electric strike on the surface of the frame, align it with the exit latchbolt, and install. Unique design ensures easier adjustments with a base that is now separate from the cover.
The HES 9500 model is built for outdoor use, surpassing Grade 1 standards for strength and performance. It allows field-selectable fail-secure and fail-safe modes and supports 12 or 24VDC configurations. This exceptional electric strike adheres to NFPA 80-07 guidelines for retrofitting into fire-rated frames.
