The 9500 series electric strike is a 3-hour fire-rated solution specifically engineered for rim exit devices with a 3/4″ throw Pullman latchbolt. This surface-mounted electric strike features a robust 3/4″ thick stainless steel housing, encapsulating all components to eliminate the need for frame cutting during installation. Installation is straightforward; simply position the electric strike on the frame, align it with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place. The design allows for easy adjustments as the base is now separate from the cover.
Exceeding grade-1 standards for strength and performance, the 9500 series electric strike offers field-selectable fail secure and fail safe options, compatible with both 12VDC and 24VDC systems. This innovative electric strike adheres to the NFPA 80-07 guidelines, ensuring compatibility with retrofit applications in fire-rated frames.
