**Windstorm-Certified Surface Mounted Solution**
The 9600 Series electric strike is engineered for surface mounting and windstorm certification, making it ideal for use with rim exit devices featuring a 3/4″ throw latch. This electric strike has all its components fully enclosed within a 3/4″ stainless steel housing, eliminating the need for frame cutting during installation. The product is simply mounted on the frame surface, aligned with the exit latchbolt, and secured in place. Rated for outdoor use, the 9600 Series offers field-selectable operation modes, including fail secure and fail safe, and can operate on either 12 or 24VDC. The 9600 Series set the standard as the first surface-mounted electric strike with the robust strength and durability to meet the stringent requirements of ANSI Windstorm testing.
