The HES 9600 Series is a windstorm-rated, surface-mounted electric strike specifically engineered for integration with rim exit devices featuring a 3/4″ throw latch. All components are enclosed within a robust 3/4″ thick stainless steel housing. Installation is straightforward as it requires no cutting of the door frame; simply position the electric strike on the frame surface, align with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place. Designed for outdoor use, the HES 9600 offers field-selectable options for both fail-secure and fail-safe configurations, operating on either 12 or 24VDC. This model was the pioneering surface-mounted electric strike built to meet and exceed the rigorous demands of ANSI Windstorm testing, showcasing exceptional strength and durability.
