Description
The 9600 Series is a windstorm-rated, surface-mounted electric strike that is engineered to support rim exit devices featuring a 3/4″ throw latch. Its components are fully enclosed within a robust 3/4″ thick stainless steel housing, eliminating the need for frame cutting during installation.
Installation is straightforward: place the electric strike on the frame’s surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place. The device is field-selectable for fail-secure or fail-safe operation and compatible with 12 or 24 VDC power sources. Notably, the 9600 Series was the pioneering surface-mounted electric strike to boast the strength and durability necessary to surpass ANSI Windstorm testing standards.
