The HES 9600 Series is an electric strike solution engineered for windstorm conditions, offering seamless integration with rim exit devices having a 3/4″ throw latch. Its robust design features all components securely enclosed within a 3/4″ thick stainless steel housing, allowing for easy, surface-mounted installation that eliminates the need for frame modification. Simply position the electric strike on the frame’s surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and proceed with installation. Designed for outdoor use, the HES 9600 provides field selectable options for fail secure or fail safe functionality, and supports 12 or 24VDC configurations. Notably, it was the pioneering surface-mounted electric strike crafted to exceed the stringent standards of ANSI Windstorm testing, ensuring exceptional performance and durability.
