The HES 9800 Series is a low-profile, surface-mounted electric strike engineered for compatibility with Adams Rite 8700, 8800, and EX88 Series Rim Exit Devices. This electric strike is outdoor-rated and surpasses Grade 1 standards for both strength and performance. The entire mechanism is contained within the ½” thick strike housing, featuring a sleek stainless steel cover that conceals the mounting screws, delivering an enhanced aesthetic appearance.
To accommodate varying door gaps, 1/16″ and 1/8″ spacer plates are included. Installation is straightforward: position the electric strike on the surface of the frame, align it with the Starwheel or Interlock latching mechanism, and secure it in place.
