The 4510 Series Standard Duty Deadlatch is designed to provide versatile access management during and after business hours, catering to the needs of healthcare facilities, financial institutions, retail environments, and other sectors requiring flexible entry and exit protocols.
**Functionality**
The 4510 Series Standard Duty Deadlatch enhances traffic management by facilitating two-way traffic control, enabling unrestricted entry at designated times and exit-only options when necessary. It is interchangeable with any MS1850S Deadlock matching the backset and faceplate specifications, although it offers a different level of security than the MS® Deadlock.
**Operational Features**
The latchbolt can be retracted using a key, handle, or paddle, with the option to hold the bolt retracted by a reverse key turn. This locking mechanism is compatible with any standard 1-inch [25.4 mm] length, 1-5/32-inch [29.4 mm] diameter mortise cylinder with MS® cam, such as the 4036 Mortise Cylinder or 4066 Thumbturn, available for separate purchase. Cylinders can be installed on either or both sides of the lock.
