Its unique design allows the bolt to remain retracted with a reverse key turn, enabling the door to swing freely for bi-directional passage when required. This deadlatch is compatible with existing MS1850A or MS1850S Deadlocks without requiring any stile modification and can be easily retrofitted to the existing 4500 or 4700 Deadlatch framework.
