The 4901 and 4902 Deadlatch Strikes enhance the aesthetics and finish of strike cutouts in door jambs.
Function:
Engineered to work with the 4300, 4500, 4700, and 4900 Series Deadlatches, these strikes offer versatile mounting options. A backup mounting plate included with the 4901 and 4902 models allows for flush installation in hollow section jambs. They accommodate the 1/2″ [12.7 mm] wide latchbolt of the 4500/4700 Series and the 5/8″ [15.9 mm] wide latchbolt of the 4900 Series by removing the snap-in nylon insert.

4901
-01: Flush mount flat strike with a standard slat strike, featuring a molded black plastic dust box and closure for the unused lower strike opening, complete with a steel mounting plate. The long face is designed to cover the strike area of MS® deadlocks, with which the deadlatch is interchangeable.
-02: Flush mount radius strike, similar to the 4901-01, but with a radiused strike plate for the nose of the opposite door when latching pairs.
