Description
**Camden Door Controls, CM-1100 and CM-2000 Series Key Switches**
The CM-1100 and CM-2000 Series flush mount key switches by Camden Door Controls meet the rigorous standards required for key switch controls in the industry. Engineered to accommodate standard mortise cylinders of 1″, 1 1/8″, or 1 1/4″, these switches are constructed from durable 1/4″ thick aluminum in a one-piece die-cast design featuring Camden’s distinct manufacturing advantages.
The CM-1100 model features a single gang (2 3/4″) width, while the CM-2000 model is a compact 1 3/4″ wide, making it ideal for door frames or narrow spaces in commercial applications. Both models can support one or two switches and include a countersunk cylinder opening within a single cast assembly. Accompanying components include a brass cylinder lock ring, two socket/slotted screws, and two tamperproof screws with a dedicated driver. Mortise cylinders are available separately. Engineered for resilience in all-weather conditions, this assembly is also tamper and vandal resistant.
Camden Key Switches offer versatility with numerous switch configurations, suitable for various commercial and industrial functions. They provide a practical, cost-efficient solution for authorized personnel to manage and signal different functions within a complex environment.
**APPLICATIONS**
The CM-1100 and CM-2000 Series Key Switches are optimal for managing overhead doors, electric locks, electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, motors, and more. They are commonly employed for shunting, bypassing, timed functions, and for activating/deactivating CCTV and access control equipment. The robust construction is tailored for high-frequency use and accepts standard mortise cylinders.
**ARCHITECTS / ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS**
Key Switch Controls to be implemented across a site or complex will exclusively incorporate Camden Door Controls. The CM-1100 and CM-2000 Series are designated for all flush mount key switch applications.
The design includes a faceplate that integrates a mounting platform for both the cylinder and switches in a single construction. This faceplate is engineered with 180° locators to eliminate the need for set screws to prevent cylinder rotation. A brass cylinder lock ring is utilized to secure the mortise cylinder to the faceplate. This one-piece, 1/4″ thick aluminum assembly is both tamper and vandal resistant, with a countersunk cylinder opening and beveled edges. The key switch is provided with stainless steel Torx or snake-eye security screws.
The casted faceplate with a mounting platform features two holes for switch installation, supporting either left or right operation. In dual control environments, two switches can be configured for bi-directional operation from a single key switch.
