This robust access control solution is ideal for diverse applications and installations, offering powerful hardware with enhanced processing power, memory, and storage. It’s engineered to endure extreme environmental conditions, functioning effectively in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 70 °C (-40 °F to 158 °F). Equipped with PoE+ and DC support, the onboard lock can be powered directly. Additionally, with six configurable auxiliary I/O ports, integration with sensors and external security systems is seamless, enabling functionalities such as glass break detection, intrusion alarms, and emergency alerts. This UL-recognized barebone door controller, sold without a top cover, is perfect for creating customized access control solutions with straightforward integration into custom enclosures.

This intelligent door controller features four reader connections and two Form C relays, all powered through a single PoE cable, providing comprehensive management for two doors. With edge intelligence, it can independently handle all door access tasks even if the network is down. Built-in cybersecurity features protect against unauthorized access and ensure system integrity. Axis Edge Vault, for instance, safeguards your device ID and streamlines product authentication on the network, while securely storing cryptographic keys like the OSPD Secure Channel encryption key in a certified compute module.
Scalable to Meet Evolving Needs
Fully integrated within Axis solutions and supported by partner solutions, this scalable door controller is tailored for installations of varying sizes and adapts to meet evolving access control requirements. It can store up to 250,000 credentials and event logs directly on the device. It also offers flexible, secure authentication using multiple credential types, including traditional methods like cards or PIN codes, as well as dynamic QR codes for visitor access and license plates for vehicle entry.
