Description
The ACM8 module is an advanced power distribution solution that efficiently converts a single 12 to 24 volt AC or DC input into eight independently controlled, fuse-protected outputs. These outputs can be modified to dry form “C” contacts, making them versatile for a range of applications. Each output can be activated via open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input from various access control technologies such as Access Control Systems, Card Readers, Keypads, Push Buttons, and PIR sensors. The ACM8 is adept at routing power to a variety of access control hardware devices, including Magnetic Locks, Electric Strikes, and Magnetic Door Holders. It supports both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operational modes. For power supply, the unit can be connected to one common power source that fuels both board operation and locking devices, or it can utilize two separate power sources, one dedicated to board operations and the other to lock or accessory power. The Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Interface enables features such as Emergency Egress, Alarm Monitoring, and auxiliary device triggering. Additionally, the fire alarm disconnect option is individually selectable for any or all eight outputs, providing tailored control and enhanced safety functionality.
