Description
The Altronix ACMCB series is designed to distribute and manage power for access control systems and related accessories. These units convert a 115VAC, 60Hz input into eight independently controlled 12VDC or 24VDC Class 2 Rated power-limited, PTC-protected outputs. These outputs can be activated by an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input from access control devices, such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, or PIR sensors. The series efficiently supplies power to various access control hardware devices, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. The outputs support both fail-safe and fail-secure modes. Additionally, the FACP interface facilitates emergency egress, alarm monitoring, and can trigger auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature is configurable for any or all of the eight outputs.
