Description
The Altronix AL1024NKA8DQM kit converts a 115VAC 60Hz input into eight PTC-protected, power-limited outputs tailored for the security industry. Each output is selectable, offering 12VDC or 5VDC up to 6A or 24VDC up to 10A, with a total power capacity of 240W, ideal for access control panels, door locks, and related devices. The power outputs can be adjusted to provide dry form “C” contacts. Activation is possible through an open collector sink, normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) dry trigger input, or a wet output from access control systems, card readers, keypads, push buttons, PIR sensors, and more. The AL1024NKA8DQM efficiently delivers power to diverse access control hardware such as magnetic locks, electric strikes, and door holders, supporting both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operational modes. The FACP Interface enhances functionality by enabling emergency egress, alarm monitoring, or activation of auxiliary devices. It offers a fire alarm disconnect option, independently selectable for each of the eight outputs. With spade connectors, daisy-chaining power to multiple LINQ8ACM(CB) modules becomes easy—perfect for larger installations requiring extended power distribution. Integrated LINQTM Network Power Management allows for comprehensive monitoring, reporting, and control of power and diagnostics within the system.
