Description
The AL1024ULACMCBR power supply unit is engineered to transform a 115VAC 60Hz input into eight independently controlled 24VDC outputs, ideal for Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure configurations, with a total continuous supply current of 10 amps. These outputs can be activated using an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input from various access control devices such as access controllers, card readers, keypads, push buttons, or PIR sensors. The unit is adept at distributing power to diverse access control peripherals, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders, while supporting both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operational modes. It can be powered either by a single common power source, which sustains both the board and locking mechanisms, or by two independent sources—one for the board and another for lock or accessory power. The integrated Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface supports emergency egress and alarm monitoring, and can also activate auxiliary devices. Additionally, the fire alarm disconnect feature is selectively configurable for any or all of the eight outputs.
