Description
The Altronix ACMCB series is designed for efficient distribution and switching of power in access control systems and related accessories. These units transform a 115VAC, 60Hz input into eight (8) independently managed 12VDC or 24VDC Class 2 Rated power-limited outputs with PTC protection. Each output is controllable via an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input sourced from various access control inputs such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, and PIR sensors. The series is capable of supplying power to a range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. Outputs are configurable for both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operational modes. Additionally, the FACP interface facilitates emergency egress, alarm monitoring, and auxiliary device triggering. A selectable fire alarm disconnect feature is available, allowing customization for any or all of the eight (8) outputs.
