Description
The Altronix ACMCB series is designed for the distribution and switching of power to access control systems and related accessories. These units convert a 115VAC, 60Hz input into eight independently controlled outputs, providing either 12VDC or 24VDC Class 2 Rated power-limited outputs with PTC protection. The outputs are activated via open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger inputs from various access control interfaces like card readers, keypads, push buttons, PIR sensors, and more. They efficiently route power to a wide range of access control hardware devices such as magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. The outputs are versatile, supporting both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure modes. Additionally, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Interface facilitates emergency egress and alarm monitoring or can be used to trigger auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature is customizable and can be individually selected for any or all of the eight outputs.
