Description
These power management units are essential for distributing and switching power to various access control systems and related accessories. They effectively convert a 115VAC 60Hz input into eight (8) independently controlled 12VDC or 24VDC fuse-protected outputs. These outputs can be modified to provide dry form “C” contacts. Activation of power outputs occurs through an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input from access control technology such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, and PIR sensors. These units seamlessly deliver power to a wide range of access control hardware devices, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. The outputs are versatile, supporting both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operational modes. Additionally, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Interface facilitates emergency egress and alarm monitoring, while also having the capability to trigger auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature allows selective configuration for any or all of the eight (8) outputs, enhancing adaptability and safety in access control applications.
