Description
The Altronix ACM series is designed to efficiently distribute and switch power within access control systems and their associated peripherals. This series transforms a 115VAC, 60Hz input into eight independently controlled 12VDC or 24VDC outputs, each protected by fuses. These outputs can be configured to provide dry form “C” contacts. They are activated by open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger inputs from various devices, such as Access Control Systems, Card Readers, Keypads, Push Buttons, or PIR sensors. The units are capable of powering a range of access control components, including Magnetic Locks, Electric Strikes, and Magnetic Door Holders. They support both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operational modes. The Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Interface allows for Emergency Egress, Alarm Monitoring, or triggering of additional auxiliary devices. Moreover, the fire alarm disconnect feature can be individually selected for any or all of the eight outputs.
