Description
The Altronix MaxFit7F8AP Access Power Controller is designed to distribute and manage power for access control systems and related accessories. It transforms a 120VAC, 60Hz input into eight (8) distributed 24VDC fuse-protected outputs and eight (8) independently controlled 24VDC fuse-protected relay outputs. The outputs can be configured for Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure operation and converted into dry form “C” contacts. Relays are triggered by an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input from various access control components such as access control systems, keypads, push buttons, and request-to-exit (REX) PIR sensors. The unit efficiently directs power to a wide range of access control hardware like magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. The Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface supports emergency egress, alarm monitoring, and the triggering of auxiliary devices. Users can individually select the fire alarm disconnect feature for any or all of the eight (8) relay outputs.
