Description
The Altronix MaxFit7F8APS Access Power Controller is engineered to distribute and manage electrical power for access control systems and their peripherals. It efficiently transforms a 120VAC, 60Hz electrical input into eight (8) separately distributed outputs, offering options for 12V DC or 24V DC with fuse protection, along with eight (8) independently operated 24V DC relay outputs safeguarded by fuses. These outputs can be configured for either Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure modes and can be converted to dry-form “C” contacts for flexible use. The device’s relays can be activated through an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input sourced from various access control interfaces like keypads, push buttons, and REX PIR sensors. This ensures seamless power distribution to a wide range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and door holders. Furthermore, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface facilitates emergency exit and alarm monitoring capabilities, and it can also trigger auxiliary equipment. Each of the eight relay outputs features a selectable fire alarm disconnect option for tailored safety configurations.
