Description
The Maximal33RV rack mount power distribution unit is designed for the access control industry, offering versatile power management and switching for access control systems and related accessories. It is capable of converting a 220V AC input (with an operational range of 198V AC – 256V AC) in both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies into 16 independently controlled outputs, each providing 12V DC and/or 24V DC with fuse protection. These outputs can be triggered using a normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry contact input from various access control devices such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, and PIR sensors. The unit efficiently routes power to a wide array of access control hardware, including mag locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. It supports both fail-safe and fail-secure operating modes. Additionally, the unit includes an FACP interface, which facilitates emergency egress, alarm monitoring, and the triggering of auxiliary devices. The integrated fire alarm disconnect feature allows individual selection for some or all outputs.
