Description
Maxim3R units play a critical role in the access control industry by distributing and switching power to various access control systems and peripherals. These units convert a 115VAC 50/60Hz input into sixteen (16) independently controlled outputs that are fuse-protected and can deliver either 12VDC or 24VDC. The outputs are activated using a normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry trigger input from sources such as access control systems, card readers, keypads, push buttons, or PIR sensors. They efficiently allocate power to diverse access control hardware, including mag locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. These outputs can be configured for both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure modes, enhancing security and flexibility. The integrated FACP interface supports emergency egress and alarm monitoring and can trigger additional auxiliary devices. Furthermore, the fire alarm disconnect feature is designed for user selection, allowing individual or collective output management based on specific needs.
