Description
The Maximal55F Access Power Controller is designed for efficient distribution and switching of power in access control systems and related accessories. It transforms a 120V AC 60 Hz input into 16 independently controlled 12V DC fuse-protected outputs. These outputs are configurable for Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure operations and can be converted to dry form “C” contacts. They are activated via an open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input received from various access control devices such as keypads, push buttons, and REX PIRs. This versatile controller supplies power to a broad range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. The Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface supports emergency egress and alarm monitoring or can trigger additional auxiliary devices. Users can individually select the fire alarm disconnect feature for any or all of the 16 outputs. It is essential that all interconnected equipment be UL-listed for safety compliance.
