Description
The Maximal55FD Access Power Controller is an essential component for distributing and switching power in access control systems and their peripherals. It efficiently converts a 120V AC 60 Hz input into 16 individually controlled 12V DC power-limited outputs with PTC protection. These outputs can be activated via an open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input from various access control systems such as keypads, push buttons, and REX PIR devices. The unit is designed to route power to a wide range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. It supports both fail-safe and fail-secure operational modes. Additionally, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface allows for emergency egress, alarm monitoring, or the activation of other auxiliary devices. Each of the 16 outputs has an individually selectable fire alarm disconnect feature. It is crucial to ensure that all interconnected equipment is UL listed for safety and compliance.
