This device is designed for the distribution and switching of power to access control systems and related accessories within the security industry. It converts a 115VAC 60Hz input into sixteen (16) independently managed 24VDC fuse-protected outputs. These power outputs can be configured to function as dry form “C” contacts. Activation of the outputs occurs via an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input from various access control components, such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, and PIR sensors. The unit effectively distributes power to a wide range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. It supports operation in both fail-safe and fail-secure modes. Additionally, the integrated Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface facilitates emergency egress and alarm monitoring, and it can activate other auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature is configurable on an individual basis for any or all of the sixteen (16) outputs, ensuring flexibility and enhanced security management for emergency situations.
