Description
The PDB-8F8R / 8C8R power distribution and control board is a compact and versatile solution designed for access control systems with integrated fire alarm interface functionality. This access control component features an 8-position power distribution setup, equipped with individual relays and input control for each output.
**Key Features:**
– Eight heavy-duty relays, each with dedicated inputs and status LEDs
– Activation for each relay input can be achieved through low current open collector, normally closed, or normally open switches
– Fire interface master trigger with EOL (End of Line) resistor automatically de-energizes all enabled output relays
– Universal power input ranging from 12 to 28VDC (nominal 12-24VDC)
– The 8C8R model includes Class 2 power limitation
– For the 8F8R model, Class 1 wiring is required unless powered by a UL 294, UL 603, ULC S318, or ULC S533 certified power supply with Class 2 output; requires a minimum ¼ inch separation between power-limited and non-power-limited circuits
– Available configurations include fuse or PTC circuit breaker options
– Individual outputs can be configured for:
– Fire trigger (FT) enabled or disabled (FTD)
– Relay switched output configuration as normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C)
– Each output (1-8) offers a protected, continuous output along with a relay-controlled output
– Option for separation of control power and main lock power using separate power supplies
