The Altronix eFlow102N16 is a versatile power supply and charger designed for efficient energy conversion, transforming a 120VAC, 60Hz input into sixteen (16) fuse-protected 12VDC outputs with a maximum total of 10A. This power supply features an unswitched auxiliary output and a comprehensive suite of functionalities, including fire alarm disconnect capability, over-voltage protection, and low power disconnect to prevent the deep discharge of standby batteries.
Specifications include a 120VAC, 60Hz, 3.5A input with a 5A/250V input fuse, and sixteen fuse-protected outputs rated at 2.5A, delivering a total supply current of 10.0A at 12VDC. The auxiliary power-limited output is rated at 1A and remains unswitched. The unit incorporates over-voltage protection and includes a built-in charger compatible with sealed lead-acid or gel-type batteries, ensuring automatic switchover to standby battery power during AC power failure without interruption.
The system is equipped with AC fail supervision featuring form “C” contacts and offers selectable notification triggers set to either 30 seconds (factory default) or 2 hours. Battery fail and presence are similarly supervised with form “C” contacts. It includes a low power shutdown feature that deactivates DC output terminals if battery voltage falls below 71-73%, minimizing the risk of deep battery discharge.
For fire alarm integration, the power supply supports supervised fire alarm disconnect with both latching and non-latching options, using a 10K EOL resistor and operates on normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) triggers.
Environmentally, the unit functions optimally in temperatures ranging from 0° C to 49° C (32° F to 120° F) and can be stored between -20° C to 70° C (-4° F to 158° F) with relative humidity of 85% +/- 5%. It has an approximate energy output of 61 BTU/Hr and requires a system AC input VA of 420VA.
For user convenience, visual indicators include a green AC Power LED to confirm the presence of 120VAC, along with additional AC input and DC output LED indicators. The device also features protection against short circuits and overloads. The package comes complete with the power supply, enclosure, battery leads, and a cam lock to ensure secure installation and operation.
