The FLEXPOWER RC-N SERIES is a versatile, networked power solution designed to meet the demands of the access control, security, CCTV, and mass notification sectors within the life safety industry. This 12/24V DC rack mount power system offers both single and dual voltage options with multiple control outputs. Its network reporting capabilities encompass operational fault status, power supply output, battery charging voltage and current, and fire alarm input status. It supports automated and scheduled status updates as well as remote diagnostic servicing and battery load tests, which significantly reduces the need for on-site service visits. Certain models, identified by an “E” suffix, are calibrated at the factory for 230V AC input. The system facilitates straightforward power distribution for auxiliary equipment and provides controlled power distribution for locks and signaling applications. Output configurations include eight or 16 controlled outputs, or a combination of eight controlled and eight distributed outputs (specific to the RC150B-C8D8N model), each with a 3A fuse and protection against electrical surges from lightning or transient events. The controlled outputs are equipped with optoisolated inputs, allowing each to be independently managed via voltage application, open collector, or normally open/closed contact transfer.
