Description
The HID™ system is enabled using an activation card, which must be acquired separately within the security hardware industry. These cards are available in sets of 1, 5, or 10 activations, accommodating various requirements. When presented to a compatible access control reader, the activation card facilitates the HID™ Prox® 125 kHz feature while maintaining the reader’s ability to process Paxton and EM credentials.
For the Wiegand feature within the access control market, only one activation card is necessary, allowing users to switch the Wiegand functionality on the reader.
