**About** – The Paxton10 Video Controller is designed for comprehensive security integration, offering storage and processing capabilities for up to four third-party IP cameras, while maintaining the full suite of features provided by the Paxton10 Door Controller. This network device seamlessly communicates over TCP/IP and can be effortlessly integrated into existing network infrastructures. A mains-powered option is available for enhanced versatility.
**Installation** – The Paxton10 Video Controller features a clearly labeled wiring diagram with color-coded connections for readers, power supplies, locks, and more. Its 12V output is versatile, capable of controlling various access points such as doors, barriers, or gates. Diagnostic LEDs provide real-time status updates for the controller and its inputs and outputs. Controllers connect directly to the network via TCP/IP and automatically appear in the Paxton10 software under the devices menu.
**Operation** – Changes made in the Paxton10 software are instantly communicated to the door or video controller, ensuring seamless operation. When a user presents their access token to the reader, the control unit promptly identifies the user and grants or denies access accordingly.
**Please note:** An external hard drive from a third-party supplier is required for storage expansion.
