**Overview** – The Paxton10 Video Controller is an advanced surveillance solution, offering storage and processing capabilities for up to four third-party IP cameras while retaining all the functionality of a comprehensive access control system. This network device seamlessly integrates over TCP/IP into existing network infrastructures.
A PoE (Power over Ethernet) option is also available.
**Installation** – The installation process is streamlined with a wiring label on the controller that clearly displays color-coded connections for security readers, power supplies, and locks. Featuring a 12V output, the controller can operate doors, barriers, or gates. Diagnostic LEDs provide clear status updates for the controller and its inputs and outputs.
Controllers connect directly to the network through TCP/IP, becoming visible in the software’s device menu.
**Operation** – Any modifications made within the management software are instantly communicated to the video or access controller. When a user presents their credential to the reader, the control unit promptly verifies and grants or restricts access accordingly.
