An installation guide is not included with the 86LM coaxial antenna extension kit, which is compatible with models 312HM, 412HM, 423-315LM (323LM), and 850LM. Two versions of this antenna extension are available: the 86LM provides a 15-foot coaxial cable, while the 86LMT comes with a 25-foot cable. The kit contains an L-shaped bracket with a coaxial connector and the corresponding cable; however, it does not include a brass antenna.
Users should utilize the existing antenna from their receiver. If a new antenna is required, part number 041C3196 must be ordered separately. Notably, for the 850LM model, the specific K77-36541 bent antenna is necessary. This unique antenna is precision-tuned for the receiver, so avoid using a brass antenna or altering the antenna from its original configuration.
