Description
The Net2 I/O board is a versatile yet robust component of the Net2 access control system. This board can be integrated with a Net2 door controller to manage power delivery to various electrical devices, promoting energy efficiency and cost savings. With the integration of the triggers and actions feature within the Net2 software, the I/O board can regulate systems such as lighting, heating, water, and air conditioning. These controls can be programmed for specific times or in response to particular Net2 system events.
Featuring 4 inputs and 4 outputs, the Net2 I/O board connects seamlessly to a LAN/WAN network via an onboard RJ45 connector, allowing flexible deployment throughout a facility. The board is available in several configurations, including as a PCB only, within a plastic casing, or integrated into a 2A boxed plastic mains monitored backup power supply. It’s important to note that while I/O boards are integral to the Net2 ecosystem, they are distinct from door controllers and serve different functions.
