The Net2 I/O board is a versatile and powerful enhancement to the Net2 access control system. This module can be integrated with a Net2 door controller to manage electrical equipment efficiently, offering cost and energy savings. It allows for automation of lighting, heating, water, and air conditioning through the triggers and actions feature in the Net2 software, enabling users to configure these operations at specific times or in response to unique events within the system.
Featuring 4 inputs and 4 outputs, the Net2 I/O board connects seamlessly to a network via its onboard RJ45 connector, allowing for flexible deployment throughout a facility. The board is available as a standalone PCB, enclosed in a plastic housing, or combined with a 2A boxed plastic mains-monitored backup power supply.
It is important to note that while the I/O boards enhance the Net2 system, they function distinctly from standalone door controllers.
