The system supports a “star” type network configuration for the RS-485 bus, making it ideal for large-scale or multi-level buildings and sites where a “daisy chain” RS-485 setup isn’t practical. By placing the CA-A370-P in a central location within your existing RS-485 network, you can extend up to four individual RS-485 networks to various controllers or expansion modules.
