Description
The USB-485 Communication Interface serves as a protocol converter facilitating the connection between a PC’s USB port and the RS-485 input on Kantech controllers, including KT-1, KT-200, KT-300, and KT-400. This interface supports a maximum bus length of 1,200 meters (or 4,000 feet) when utilizing an Ethernet Grade 3 unshielded, two twisted pair cable, with Belden #1227A being the recommended option.
